Anti-Harassment Policy

A workplace where women and men can thrive professionally.

Preventing sexual harassment is one of the most basic elements of our business, and is under the strict attention of SeaLand as a company.

Sexual harassment is not tolerated in any form. Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favours, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature constitute sexual harassment when any of the following apply.

  • 01

Submission to such conduct is made, either explicitly or implicitly, a term or condition of an individual's employment.

  • 02

Submission to or rejection of such conduct by an individual is used as the basis for employment decisions affecting that individual.

  • 03

Such conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual's work performance, or of creating an intimidating, hostile or offensive working environment.

  • 04

    Inappropriate attempts at sexual humour.

How to report

Anyone who believes they have been subjected to sexual harassment by anyone within the company should immediately contact their supervisor, manager or the personnel manager.

Confidentiality

All company managers and supervisors must treat these reports as confidential, and respond to them confidentially.

Consequences

Any violation of this policy may subject the employee to disciplinary action, including termination of employment.
